Below is a list of the program products supported by the CICS Systems Staff at NERDC with comments regarding their "Year 2000 Ready" status. It should be noted that even though the release of CICS used at NERDC is "Year 2000 Ready", most of the applications that run there are written and supported by the various CICS Development Groups. It is the responsibility of those development groups to make the necessary modifications to their applications to make them "Year 2000 Ready".
The definiton of the term "Year 2000 Ready" is as follows:
"The product, when used in accordance with its associated documentation, is capable of correctly processing, providing and/or receiving date data within and between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, provided that all products (for example, hardware, software and firmware) used with the product properly exchanged accurate date data with it."
