This page contains basic information about the various program products supported by the CICS systems staff at CNS. Information such as what vendor markets the product and the current release being used at CNS is provided. The primary CICS staff member responsible for the product is listed; however, any member of the CNS CICS systems staff may be contacted for information or help with any of the products we support.
In addition to information on products supported by the CICS staff, information on the release levels of basic operating systems components is also provided. Here is a link to another page which lists the "Year 2000 Ready" status of the program products supported by the CICS Systems Staff at CNS.
Some of these products are not directly accessed by users, as they simply run inside of CICS to enhance performance, provide monitoring information, or perform other system management functions. Some other products are available to users (primarily application developers).
Links to documentation on user-accessible products are provided whenever possible.
